The D differentiates the heating system from the articulated bus.

The heater is powered by the cooling water. If the cooling water is still cold , because the bus was not running , you should preheat the cooling water. For this purpose, please start the engine now and activate the pre-heater, whose switch is located at the far left of the lower switch row.

Then have a look at the controls for the heater, which are located right beneath the instrument panel. Since there is no frost outside, you don't need the defroster. The left one of the 4 lever adjusts the strength of your footwell ventilation. Please set it at at least half strength.

The red lever controls the temperature of cold (at the bottom) to warm (at the top). Please turn it to warm. Also turn on the spheric ventilation (3rd lever).

The right lever sets circulating air (at the bottom), unheated direct air from the outside (at the middle) or heated fresh air (at the top). Please provide a heated fresh air .

In addition, you must now set the controls for the front fan. The wheel is located right beside the switch for the pre-heater. Please turn it on. The fans can now be heard clearly.

At last, please turn on the ventilation of the passenger compartment by pressing the button. It is located right to the fan wheel.
